0.4% Ivermectin gel for horse

Composition: Each ml of ivermectin gel contains 4 mg Ivermectin as an active ingredient. Pharmacological properties Ivermectin belongs to the group of macrocyclic lactones obtained by fermentation of the fungus Streptomycin avermitilis. It blocks the conductivity of chloride ion channels, which disrupts the normal transmission of nerve impulses and leads to the death of parasites. Ivermectin has a pronounced antiparasitic effect on larval and sexually mature stages of nematodes of the gastrointestinal tract. Ivermectin is low-toxic for warm-blooded animals, in the recommended doses it does not have a sensitizing, mutagenic, embryotoxic and teratogenic effect. Indications Recommended for the treatment and prevention of equine diseases caused by pathogens such as: - nematodes of the gastrointestinal tract - Ascaridae, Strongylidae, Strongyloididae, Oxyurata, Trihonematidae: Spiruridae; - nematodes - Dictyocaulus spp. ; - Nematodes - Parafilaria multipapillosa, Onchocerca cervicalis; - Gasterophilus spp. ; -Cutaneous parasites: asini, Hippobosca equina, Bovicola equi, Psoroptes equi, Sarcoptes equi and some other ectoparasites. Dosage and administration Therapeutic dose:1 ml of ivermectin gel-- per 20 kg of animal weight. Ivermectin gel is injected through a syringe - a tube on the root of the tongue, once. In case of diseases caused by parasitic mites, the treatment is repeated in the same dose after 8-10 days. Contraindications Do not use in foals under 4 months of age. Special Instructions The animals is allowed to slaught after using the product 28days. In case of forced slaughter earlier than the specified period, the meat can be used for feed for carnivores or for processing into meat and bone meal. Release form The drug is produced in the form of a syringe - a tube with a dispenser of 30 ml. Storeage: Store in a dry and protected from light, out of reach of children, at a temperature not higher than 20℃
