5% Diclofenac Sodium Injection for animal use

Composition Each ml contains Diclofenac Sodium 50mg Properties: Diclofenac sodium, sodium 2-[( 2,6-dichlorophenyl) amino] phenylacetate is one of the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), belongs to the phenyl acetic acid derivatives. Diclofenac sodium as anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic effects is due to the decrease of the prostaglandin synthesis from arachidonic acid by inhibition of the cyclo-oxygenase. Its effect is 2~2.5 times stronger than indomethacin and 26~50 times stronger than acetylsalicylic acid. It is characterized by strong drug efficacy, mild adverse reactions, small doses, and small individual differences. The binding rate of the drug to plasma protein is 99.7%. The half-life is 1 to 2 hours. According to the recommended dose and interval, there is no accumulation. The drug is metabolized by the liver, and about 60% of the therapeutic amount of metabolites is excreted from the kidneys, and the excretion of the original drug is less than 1%. The rest of the dose is in the form of metabolites, excreted into the intestines via bile, and cleared from the feces. Indications Antipyretic analgesics. Diclofenac sodium injection as anti-inflammatory and analgesic, is indicated for the control of pain and inflammation associated with musclo-skeletal disorders such as; arthritis, osteoarthritis, osteochondritis, bursitis, tendenitis and myositis, acute pneumonia, acute mastitis and enteritis.  It is also used for the control of fever associated with infections or tissue degeneration in different animal species. Dosage and Administration Intramuscular injection:   one dose, 1.25mg per 1kg body weight; animals continuous used 1-3 days. Precautions: It should be injected slowly. Storage: Store in a cool, dry and dark place. Keep out of the reach of children.
