Bromogeramine Disinfectant for Skin

Dosage

Before surgery, wash hands and disinfect with 0.1% solution for 3-5 minutes. Use 0.1% solution for skin and mucous membrane disinfection, and 0.01% solution for wound disinfection. Soak or wipe the surface of objects with 0.1%-0.5% solution for 30 minutes. Bladder and urethral lavage with a concentration of less than 0.005% solution.  

Adverse reactions

Bromogeramine disinfectant is an external disinfectant and cannot be taken orally. If swallowed by mistake, symptoms such as gastrointestinal irritation, restlessness, muscle weakness, cyanosis, spasm, etc. may occur. In severe cases, death may occur due to respiratory paralysis. There are also reports of allergic conjunctivitis, vision loss and contact dermatitis. In case of poisoning, gastric lavage with low-concentration soapy water should be used, artificial respiration should be performed, and oxygen should be given. If spasm occurs, inject barbiturates and use other symptomatic treatments.
