34% Nitroxynil Injection

Indication

34% Nitroxynil injection could be used for Liver fluke infestations caused by fasciola hepatica and F.Gigstrointestinal parasitism caused by Haemonchus, Oesophagostomunm and Bunostomum in cattle, sheep and goats, oestrus in sheep and camels.

Dosage And Administration

The standard dosage is 10mg nitroxynil per kg body weight (=1.5ml of nitroxynil /50kg b.w) by Subcutaneous only.

Withdrawal Time

Cattle, goats and camels treated for liver fluke and roundworms should not be slaughtered for human consumption within 60 days of treatment. At the double dose for Parafilaria ,animals should not be slaughtered within 70 days of treatment. Sheep treated should not be slaughtered for human consumption within 45 days of treatment.

Milk : 5 days

Dose only cows on dry period.

Precautions

1. The amount of treatment is well tolerated by cattle and sheep, and there are no other adverse reactions except for a few milk yellow stains.

2. The deworming effect of this product is unstable when taken orally. Subcutaneous injection is often used, but the injection is irritating to the tissues. Generally, cattle and sheep react slightly. Dogs have severe local reactions and even cause swelling. Use caution when using it.

3. The liquid medicine can make wool yellow, so it should be prevented from overflowing when used.

Storage

Store in a cool , dry and dark place.
